Job Description

Role Overview: The Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Finance team is responsible for managing financial reporting, accounting, and balance sheet activities to support strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance. As part of this team, you will play a key role in driving data quality and data lineage initiatives across domains, collaborating with data stewards and group data Office teams to ensure accurate data lineage for critical data elements (CDEs) and regulatory reports. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and review business and technical rules for critical data elements (CDEs) - Collaborate with data stewards and group data Office teams to document requirements - Conduct data profiling and implement effective business rules - Deliver data-driven regulatory changes - Ensure accurate data lineage for CDEs and regulatory reports (APRA, PRA) Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in data and information management within financial services with expertise in data quality, lineage, and CDE identification - Proficiency in data governance tools (preferably Collibra), SQL, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau - Strong understanding of financial management disciplines in large, complex organizations - Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, translate abstract requirements, and prioritize effectively - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with a proactive and independent work approach Additional Company Details: At Macquarie, you will be part of a global financial services group operating in 31 markets with 56 years of unbroken profitability.
