Executive Chef (Continental)

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes prepared in the kitchen. Your role will involve coordinating cooks" tasks, implementing hygiene policies, and ensuring equipment cleanliness. Additionally, you will be in charge of designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations. Key Responsibilities: - Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives - Hire and train kitchen staff including cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers - Perform administrative tasks such as stocktaking of food and equipment supplies, and managing purchase orders - Set and monitor performance standards for the kitchen staff - Obtain feedback on food and service quality, and address customer problems and complaints effectively Qualifications Required: - Diploma in a relevant field is preferred - 10 years of experience in Continental cuisine, culinary arts, menu planning, and team handling - Proficiency in English language is preferred The company provides food and offers paid time off as part of the benefits package.
