Excavator Operator

Description

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience operating excavators and will be responsible for performing excavation tasks while adhering to safety protocols and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Work collaboratively with other construction team members
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Transport materials and equipment as needed
• Demonstrate proper excavation techniques for various soil types

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-10 years of experience as an excavator operator or in a similar role
• Valid heavy machinery operator's license
• Proficient in operating excavators of various sizes
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Good physical condition and stamina for operating heavy machinery
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
