An exam invigilator's primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity and security of an examination by monitoring candidates, preventing cheating, enforcing exam rules, and providing logistical support. Key duties include setting up the exam room, checking candidate identification, explaining rules, managing the distribution and collection of papers, supervising candidates during the exam, detecting and reporting misconduct, and handling emergencies.
