Role Overview:

The Evaluation Engineer will be responsible for assessing, testing, and validating vehicles/equipment based on defined parameters. The role involves conducting structured evaluations, preparing detailed reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle/equipment evaluations as per defined guidelines and testing procedures.
  
• Perform road tests, component checks, and performance assessments.
  
• Document test results, observations, and improvement areas in structured formats.
  
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and share them with the internal team.
  
• Ensure all tests comply with safety standards and company protocols.
  
• Coordinate with the technical and operations team for scheduling evaluations.
  
• Identify defects, deviations, and issues during evaluations and escalate appropriately.
  
• Maintain accurate evaluation records, logs, and documentation.
  
• Support the training team by providing insights based on evaluation outcomes.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assessment processes.

• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and mechanical fundamentals.
  
• Ability to perform structured testing and evaluations.
  
• Good analytical and observational skills.
  
• Attention to detail with strong documentation abilities.
  
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electricals).
  
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
  
• Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and digital reporting tools.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI/Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or related field.
  
• 16 years of experience.
  

• Valid driving license (LMV) preferred.

• Basic experience in vehicle testing or service centers will be an added advantage.
  

Work Environment & Additional Info:

• Field-based role involving travel for evaluations.
  
• Must be comfortable working in outdoor/yard/vehicle testing environments.
