ETO Quotation Specialist

Role Overview: You will be primarily responsible for quoting and supporting custom Engineered-to-Order (ETO) solutions for the NEC market, focusing on products used within harsh, hazardous, and industrial applications. This role involves reviewing RFQs, preparing ETO quotes, coordinating with the ETO Engineering team, and offering custom product recommendations to Sales and Distributors. Key Responsibilities: - Review and quote customer RFQs for NEC product families. - Coordinate the quote and engineering lead-time requirements effectively. - Prepare pricing and proposals for special products within assigned product families as per requests from Sales and Distributors. - Maintain quality and efficiency throughout the quotation lifecycle stages (Order Entry, Approval Drawings, Customer Feedback, and Production). - Contribute to continuous process improvement for the ETO Quotation and Engineering teams. - Develop templates and reference material to enhance team efficiency. - Foster collaboration and communication between the ETO Engineering team, Sales/Distributor network, and serve as a point of contact between these teams. - Assist in collecting and reporting team metrics and updates to PLM and GPLM regularly. Qualification Required: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university, or relevant Engineering Technology diploma. - Minimum 2 years of professional experience with technical products in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering roles. - Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal). - Eligibility to work in India without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: - Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to travel internationally. - Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist (electrical strongly preferred). - Familiarity with the harsh and hazardous electrical products market, along with associated codes and standards. - Experience in preparing custom (ETO) product quotations and technical proposals.
