Description

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join our team in India. The ETO will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems onboard vessels, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems onboard vessels.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in electro-technical roles, preferably in marine or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for electrical issues.
Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the electrical engineering field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other departments.
