Skill - ETL Validation
Interview Location: Chennai & Coimbatore
Experience Range - 4 to 12 Years
Mode of Interview - Face to Face ( Mandate)
Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of ETL workflows.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple environments.
Develop and maintain SQL queries/scripts for test automation and validation.
Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS).
Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, joins, and data validation.
Experience with database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is a plus.
Knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, regression, automation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
