Job Summary

ETL Tester QA Data

Key Responsibilities

Perform
ETL testing
to validate extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Design, develop, and execute
complex SQL queries
for data validation and reconciliation.
Conduct
database testing
for schema, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
Validate
data migration
between legacy and new systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Carry out
data validation checks
across multiple systems and environments.
Collaborate with development and business teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Document test cases, test results, and defect reports in a clear, structured manner.
Participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies
and contribute to continuous QA improvements.

Mandatory Skills

5+ years of proven experience
in ETL Testing.
Strong hands-on expertise in
SQL
(queries, joins, stored procedures, functions).
Solid background in
database testing
(Oracle, SQL Server, or other RDBMS).
Demonstrated experience in
data migration testing
(source-to-target validation).
Proficiency in
data validation and reconciliation
techniques with attention to detail.

Good to Have

Experience with
ETL tools
(Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Ab Initio, etc.).
Knowledge of
data warehousing concepts
and BI tools.
Familiarity with
test management tools
(JIRA, HP ALM, etc.) and Agile methodologies.
Exposure to
automation in ETL/data testing
.
