ETL Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA ETL Engineer with a strong background in healthcare payer systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and executing test plans for data warehousing, ETL workflows, and backend data validation across large-scale healthcare datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
• Experience with scripting in Python or Pyspark.
• Conduct end-to-end data validation across data sources, including claims, member, and provider data.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and product owners to understand ETL requirements and test accordingly.
• Utilize ICEDQ or similar tools for ETL data testing and reconciliation.
• Perform SQL-based backend testing and test data management.
• Document test results and provide root cause analysis for data quality issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous integration testing cycles.

Required Skills:

• Deep knowledge in Test Design, Test Planning, and ETL Testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Services, especially Redshift, Glue.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, API Testing, Test Automation.
• Familiarity with ICEDQ, Informatica, and data pipeline testing.
• Strong SQL skills and exposure to cloud-based data environments.
