ETL Developer

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL tools and processes, particularly with Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi, Pentaho, or SSIS. The role requires excellent technical knowledge of databases, particularly MySQL, and a strong ability to integrate data from multiple sources. The candidate must also have strong manual testing skills and experience using version control systems such as GIT, along with project tracking tools like JIRA. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using tools like Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi, Pentaho, or SSIS. Develop and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from various sources including APIs, cloud storage, and third-party applications. Perform data mapping, data transformation, and data cleansing to ensure data quality. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading from MySQL databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide scalable solutions. Conduct manual testing to ensure the accuracy and performance of ETL processes and data. Manage version control with GIT, and track project progress in JIRA. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data integration, and testing. Ensure adherence to best practices for ETL design, testing, and documentation. Required Skills: 2.5 to 4 years of experience in ETL development with tools such as Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi, Pentaho, or SSIS. Strong hands-on experience with MySQL databases. Proven ability to integrate data from diverse sources (APIs, cloud storage, third-party apps). Solid manual testing experience, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and process integrity. Familiarity with GIT for version control and JIRA for project management. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of automation frameworks for testing ETL processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
