Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new Kurti designs (Casual, Festive, Office wear & Designer Kurtis).
• Research trends, fabrics, colours, silhouettes, and trims.
• Prepare design concepts, sketches, and digital illustrations.
• Create mood boards, colour palettes & seasonal themes.
• Coordinate with sampling unit for pattern making, embroidery, stitching & fitting.
• Select appropriate fabrics, laces, prints & embellishments.
• Monitor sample quality and ensure corrections during development.
• Work closely with production, merchandising & quality teams.
• Maintain design library & ensure timely launch of collections.
• Follow market trends and competitor product analysis.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of ethnic wear & Kurti construction.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw / Photoshop (optional).
• Good sketching, creativity & colour sense.
• Understanding of embroidery, prints, handwork and pattern-making.
• Trend forecasting & fabric knowledge.
• Strong communication & coordination skills.

Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designing or related field.
