Estimation Engineer or a Cost Engineer who can estimate the cost of engineering products. Estimation Engineers are responsible for:
- Analyzing engineering designs and specifications
- Estimating material, labor, and overhead costs- Preparing cost reports and estimates- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and cost
Also should have knowledge of following
understanding of Drawing / manufacturing process of machine components, raw material chemestry, cycle time calculation of CNC / VMC machined components, planning, knowledge of mainteting ISO / Six Sigma / Kaizen and maintening recods of the same, having knowledge of computer using letest technologic application.
