Position Overview: As a Estimation Engineer (Civil) at Nirman Construction, the engineer responsible for preparing estimates, tender quoting, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation is typically a Quantity Surveyor or an Estimation Engineer.
## Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating and Costing: Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project scope, specifications, and drawings.
- Tender Quoting: Preparing tender documents, including BOQ, for submission to clients.
- BOQ Preparation: Creating a Bill of Quantities that outlines the materials, labor, and costs required for the project.
## Skills and Expertise:
- Proficiency in construction costing and estimation techniques.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and contract management.
- Ability to prepare accurate BOQs and cost estimates.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, standards, and best practices.
