Job Purpose:

To provide accurate cost estimates, detailed technical designs, and support project execution for aluminum doors and windows, ensuring compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study architectural drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to prepare cost estimates for aluminum windows and doors.
• Perform material take-offs, assess labor requirements, and prepare detailed quotations.
• Liaise with procurement team/vendors for raw material, glass, and hardware rates.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost while meeting client requirements.
• Support sales team with timely and competitive offers.

2. Design & Drafting

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details using AutoCAD / relevant software.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for design approvals.
• Provide clear drawings and cutting lists for production teams.

3. Technical Support & Coordination

• Assist project/site teams with technical clarifications.
• Ensure compatibility of design with site conditions and project specifications.
• Work closely with production and installation teams to resolve technical issues.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain estimation records, revision history, and drawing documentation.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets for management review.
• Submit daily/weekly updates on estimation and design progress.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of aluminum windows, doors, facades, and glazing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software Orgadata (if applicable).
• Knowledge of aluminum profile systems (UPVC/Aluminum/Hybrid).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for accurate estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Architecture or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in aluminum windows, doors, or faade industry.
• Experience in estimation, design, and drafting of fenestration systems.
