Job Description: E-commerce Marketplace Sales Head Location: , Sohna Road, Sector-48, Gurgaon, Haryana - 122018. Position Overview: The E-commerce Marketplace Sales Head is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing marketplace operations, and developing strategic partnerships with leading e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and other luxury marketplaces like Tata Cliq Luxury, Ajio Luxe, and others, etc.). The role involves overseeing sales strategies, optimizing marketplace presence, and ensuring business profitability through data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute marketplace sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities to expand marketplace reach and increase sales. Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize conversions. Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing improvements as needed. 2. Marketplace Operations & Management: Manage relationships with key e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, terms, and conditions. Oversee order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics coordination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, finance) for seamless execution. 3. Marketing & Promotions: Plan and execute marketplace-specific promotions, campaigns, and discounts. Work with the marketing team to optimize product listings (A+ content, SEO, images). Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly. 4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance metrics (GMV, ROI, CPC, customer retention). Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark pricing, products, and trends. Provide insights and reports to senior management on marketplace performance. 5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers (logistics, payment gateways). Negotiate favorable terms with marketplaces to enhance profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in renowned brands in e-commerce marketplace management and sales. Proven track record in growing marketplace sales and managing large accounts. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplace algorithms, and trends. Expertise in digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and analytics tools. Ability to handle multiple marketplaces and optimize listings efficiently. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving ability and data-driven decision-making.
