As a Testing Plan Designer, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement testing plans for products. You will be required to identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services. It will also be your duty to process product reviews and promptly inform the development team of any defects and errors found during testing. A crucial aspect of your role will be to effectively communicate both quantitative and qualitative findings derived from test results to the development team. Additionally, you will be writing and executing tests (manual and/or automated), monitoring testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, tracking defect fixes, and new features. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle is a crucial aspect of this role. You will play a key role in testing new software features and regression testing existing functionality. Translating functional specifications into testing plans that capture detailed actions will be part of your responsibilities. Utilizing test-driven development and scaled agile methods to deliver products to client requirements is essential. Executing test cases/scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing is also a core function. Familiarity with development practices like Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development is expected. Applying Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile life cycle to identify defects and design flaws is a critical aspect of this role. Implementing JUnit or TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure are key responsibilities. Analytical mindset to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors during auditing processes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player when required.
