Job Description

1. Process electronic recording (eRecording) of mortgage and real estate documents through various county portals and third-party platforms.

2. Communicate with county offices, title companies, and lenders via phone and email to resolve rejections and ensure timely recordings.

3. Verify document accuracy, formatting, and compliance with state and county regulations before submission.

4. Track and monitor document statuses to ensure prompt completion and address any issues proactively.

5. Maintain detailed records of recorded documents and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.

6. Assist in resolving rejected recordings by understanding rejection reasons and coordinating necessary corrections.

7. Collaborate with closing and post-closing teams to streamline the recording process.

8. Stay updated on county-specific recording requirements and industry changes affecting eRecording processes.

Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

1. 1-3 years of experience in eRecording, document recording, or title/mortgage processing in the US Mortgage industry.

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle voice interactions professionally.

3. Familiarity with eRecording platforms (e.g., Simplifile, CSC, ePN) and county recording systems.

4. Understanding of mortgage documents, including deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, and lien releases.

5. Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and accuracy skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and mortgage processing software.

8. Prior voice process experience in a mortgage or title-related role is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with county offices for document processing.

  • Knowledge of title insurance and closing procedures.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
