Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Employee Relations strategy aligned with corporate objectives and statutory compliance. Lead workforce rationalization programs involving lay-offs, retrenchment, or closure, in compliance with the Industrial Disputes Act and other applicable Labor laws. Act as the interface with Labor authorities, local administration, and legal advisors on ER and compliance-related matters. Drive proactive engagement with unions or worker representatives to manage potential IR risks and ensure peaceful industrial relations. Prepare ER risk mitigation plans, contingency strategies, and communication protocols during factory disruption scenarios. Maintain updated knowledge of legal provisions, court rulings, and government notifications impacting employment and industrial relations. Ensure timely legal compliance and documentation for any restructuring or closure process. Support in factory-level HR audits, disciplinary proceedings, and managing sensitive employee grievances. Required Skills & Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in ER/IR roles within the manufacturing sector (electronics, automotive, or heavy industries preferred). Proven experience in managing liquidation, lay-off, retrenchment, or closure activities in a legally compliant and ethically sound manner. Strong understanding of Indian Labor Laws, Industrial Disputes Act, Trade Union Act, and other ER statutes. Experience in dealing with external stakeholders including Labor departments, consultants, and local authorities. Strategic mind-set with the ability to operate under high-pressure, high-sensitivity environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience of managing Unions (Formation & Dissolve) * MBA/PGDM/MSW (Full Time) from reputed institute is a must

What You'll Do We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Employee Relations (ER) Global Lead to design, execute, and standardize our global ER strategy across diverse geographies. This leadership role will increase operational efficiency, foster a culture of fairness and accountability, and ensure application of ER policies and practices worldwide. You are an analytical who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution while promoting a positive employee experience. Youl will report to Senior Director. This is an Individual Contributor role. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Global Strategy & Standardization: You will Design and implement a comprehensive global employee relations strategy that aligns with business objectives and fosters a fair, inclusive, and compliant workplace. Standardize ER processes, and frameworks across all geographies while accounting for local legal and cultural nuances. Establish metrics, KPIs to measure the effectiveness of ER programs and drive continuous improvement. You will Investigate ER cases for India region and oversee the consistent handling and resolution of complex and sensitive ER cases across regions, ensuring alignment with company values and legal compliance. Implement efficient case management systems to track, analyze, and report on ER trends and outcomes. Provide expert guidance on employee disputes, performance management, investigations, and policy violations. You will Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership to provide strategic ER insights and support decision-making. Advise and coach leaders on best practices for addressing employee concerns, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive work environment. Lead the development and delivery of ER training and communication initiatives for managers and employees globally. Operational Efficiency & Ownership: You will Design scalable and efficient workflows that enable rapid and consistent execution of ER processes across global teams. Ensure investigations while maintaining confidentiality and minimizing organizational risk. Take ownership of global ER initiatives, driving accountability and delivering measurable outcomes. You will Leverage data analytics to identify patterns, assess organizational health, and provide actionable insights for proactive ER strategies. Monitor emerging trends and external benchmarks to refine ER practices and enhance employee experience. Prepare, present regular reports on ER metrics, key findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. What You'll Need to be Successful 8+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, labor relations, or HR, with a minimum of 3 years leading global ER initiatives. Proven track record of designing and implementing global ER strategies and processes. Knowledge of international labor laws, compliance frameworks, and cultural sensitivities. Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to handle complex, confidential matters with empathy. Have Analytical mindset with expertise in using data to inform decision-making and measure outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across geographies and organizational levels. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-SCP).
