Equity Trader

• Execute buy side orders for equities, F&O, and other market instruments across exchanges (NSE/BSE).
• Ensure timely and error-free order placement, modification, and cancellation.
• Monitor market movements, price fluctuations, and client positions in real time.
• Maintain compliance with SEBI, exchange regulations, and internal dealing policies.

Client Servicing & Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients for trade execution queries.
• Provide research-based trade ideas, market insights, and MIS reports.
• Assist clients in understanding market dynamics, order types, margin requirements, and risk.
• Cross-sell broking products, margin funding, and research services.

Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Control

• Track client portfolios and deliver timely updates on MTM, margin shortfalls, and risk alerts.
• Ensure adherence to risk parameters and coordinate with the risk team for approvals.
• Prevent unauthorized trades and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

Operational & Compliance Responsibilities

• Complete KYC verification checks and ensure all client code modifications (CCM) are compliant.
• Maintain dealing logs, audit trails, and records as per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with back-office, accounts, and RMS teams for seamless trade execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, and capital markets.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Quick decision-making and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in trading platforms (ODIN, NEST, NOW, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during market hours.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
