Job Description

Position: Equity Investments Analyst (Investments focussed Family Office)

Role:

- Conducting comprehensive research and analysis on companies, industries and market trends to identify investment opportunities.

- Preparing detailed equity research reports, including financial models, valuation analyses and investment recommendations.

- Collaborating with portfolio managers and other investment professionals to support the investment decision-making process.

- Building and maintaining financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation metrics.

- Communicating research findings and investment recommendations through written reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

- Attending company meetings, industry conferences and investor presentations to gather information and insights.

- Monitoring and analysing financial news, earnings reports and market developments to stay informed about the latest trends and changes.

- Role also requires to work on public equity investment opportunities through funds (PMS/AIF/MF). Analyse the fund performance through quantitative & qualitative techniques & write reports on the funds under evaluation.

Requirements:

- Qualification: CA/ MBA/ CFA. CFA is preferred.

- 3-6 yrs of experience. Demonstrable experience as an Equity Research Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role with a minimum of 3 years in equity research or investment analysis.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies and valuation methodologies in the Indian context.

- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques and equity research tools (e.g., Bloomberg).

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other commonly used financial software.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hyderabad
