Equipment Design Engineer-Pressure Vessel

Job Brief: Good Experience in Performing Mechanical Static Equipment design, Thermal Design of Shell and Tube Heat Exchange, Pressure Vessels, and Columns with deep understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer Systems and Codes and Standards. Pressure Vessel Mechanical Design Calculation and Vessel Full Vacuum Design based on Customer Specification Pressure Vessel Blast Load Calculation Pressure Vessel Shipping Calculation Vessel Shipping Saddle, Lifting/Tailing Lugs Design Calculation Capabilities Include: Good Understanding Thermal Datasheet, Mechanical Datasheet, Requisition, and TBE. Review Process Data Sheets, Selection of Materials and Preparation of Design Basic. Review/Approve the vendor documents like Thermal Calculation, Strength calculation, Vessel GA Drawing, Detail Drawings and Quality related documents. Preparing the Manual calculation for U-Stamp, U2 Stamp and R- Stamp Auditing. Attending the U-Stamp, U-2 Stamp and R-Stamp Auditing with Third party like LLOYDS, HSBC. To support Client/Vendor to rectify any fabrication related issues. Knowledge in ASME Sec VIII Div.1 and Div. 2, ASME Sec II A, ASME Sec II D TEMA, NBIC Code, API 660, ASTM Standards, EN13445, WRC 107, WRC 537, WRC 297 Software Skills : COMPRESS, AutoCAD, Solidworks/Inventor Responsibilities: Reviewing the Static Equipment Design Drawings and Detailing in Coordinate with the Engineering Calculations and 3D Model, Considering the construction feasibility and the fabrication details. Work Independently, Client Interface and Project Management. To Coordinate General Queries arising from Clients, Comments from approval authority and other disciplines. (LLOYDS, BVQI, DNV) To meet delivery schedules and with 100% Quality Qualification/Requirements: Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) 8-10 years of experience in Design & Detailing of Pressure Vessel, Columns, Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger Design Calculation (Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical)
