Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Entry Level Engineer at BICSYS. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with senior engineers to program, design and develop building control systems, preparing detailed engineering documents such as submittals and as-builts, and assisting in programming and troubleshooting control systems. The engineer will also communicate with clients to meet their project goals, adhere to schedules, and maintain project quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in system design, programming, and engineering principles
• Proficiency with tools relevant to building automation and industrial control systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting system issues and optimizing designs
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team and with clients
• Organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
• Familiarity with building automation systems and HVAC controls is advantageous
• Previous internship or project experience in a related field is a plus
