As an Enterprise Architect - R&D at ZS, you will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end architecture and technical design of clinical and R&D IT solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the architecture and technical design of clinical and R&D IT solutions, such as study design, feasibility tools, SCEs, and custom CDRs. - Driving the architecture of advanced analytics platforms like RBQM, clinical control towers, and real-time data insights systems. - Collaborating with various teams to align technology solutions with business goals and industry practices. - Defining and maintaining enterprise and solution architecture standards, ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and regulatory requirements. - Developing AI-based agentic architectures and overseeing systems integration between different platforms. - Creating architecture artifacts and collaborating with security and infrastructure teams on cloud-native deployments and DevSecOps strategies. - Mentoring technical teams and supporting architectural governance across project delivery. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines. - 12+ years of experience in designing technology solutions for the Life Sciences R&D sector. - Strong knowledge of clinical systems landscape, cloud architecture, integration patterns, and data governance. - Expertise in architecting modern data ecosystems and building scalable data pipelines. - Leadership skills in aligning business needs with technical roadmaps and Agile delivery models. Additionally, any thought leadership in data engineering and experience in data governance, data quality management, and data integration will be preferred.
