Enterprise Architect

As an Enterprise Architect at CHARGE ZONE, a tech-driven Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging infrastructure company based in Vadodara, India, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for the rapidly expanding EV charging network. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, developing end-to-end architectural solutions, and guiding teams through system integration, digital transformation, and cloud adoption efforts within the EV infrastructure domain. Your key responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the overall enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards, designing and implementing scalable technical and solution architectures for cloud-based and on-premise systems, leading architectural reviews, and providing guidance on software development and system integration. You will collaborate closely with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with business goals, evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to support EV charging infrastructure, and ensure system security, reliability, and performance through best practices in enterprise architecture. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and document reference architectures, blueprints, and data flow diagrams, drive adoption of DevOps, microservices, API management, and smart-grid technology in alignment with industry best practices, and support compliance with relevant regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of proven experience in enterprise and solution architecture, preferably in domains such as energy, IoT, smart infrastructure, or mobility tech. A strong background in software development, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and system integration is essential, as well as expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF. Hands-on experience with API design, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications is required, and familiarity with IoT protocols, smart grid technologies, and mobile application backends is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial, and relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Architect Expert are highly desirable.,
