CHARGE ZONE is a tech-driven Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging infrastructure company headquartered in Vadodara, India . Focused on both B2B and B2C segments, CHARGE ZONE is building a robust smart-grid network that enables dedicated and opportunity-based EV charging . With a mission to deploy 100,000 charging stations across key EV markets in India, the company is pioneering indigenous technology development, including a proprietary mobile app and CMS platform . Role Description: Enterprise Architect (Full-Time, On-Site) CHARGE ZONE is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for our rapidly expanding EV charging network. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, developing end-to-end architectural solutions, and guiding teams through system integration, digital transformation, and cloud adoption efforts within the EV infrastructure domain. Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain the overall enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards. Design and implement scalable technical and solution architectures for cloud-based and on-premise systems. Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on software development and system integration. Collaborate with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with business goals. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to support EV charging infrastructure. Ensure system security, reliability, and performance through best practices in enterprise architecture. Develop and document reference architectures, blueprints, and data flow diagrams. Drive adoption of DevOps, microservices, API management, and smart-grid technology in alignment with industry best practices. Support compliance with relevant regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (8+ years) in enterprise and solution architecture, preferably in domains such as energy, IoT, smart infrastructure, or mobility tech. Strong background in software development, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and system integration. Expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF. Hands-on experience with API design, microservices architecture, event driven systems, and cloud-native applications. Familiarity with IoT protocols, smart grid technologies, and mobile application backends is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Azure Architect Expert are highly desirable.
