English Teacher - Middle School

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students in Classes 6, 7, and 8, nurturing their reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills in alignment with the school’s curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Teach grammar, literature, vocabulary, writing, and communication skills appropriate for middle school learners.
• Encourage critical thinking and promote reading comprehension through a variety of texts including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
• Use diverse instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Design and administer assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote respect and responsibility among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
• Stay current with developments in English education and integrate best practices into teaching.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license (as per local requirements) is desirable but not mandatory for freshers.

Experience:

• Experienced teachers are preferred, but enthusiastic and qualified freshers are also welcome to apply.
• Experience with [insert curriculum, e.g., CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE] is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
