English Teacher Grades 1 & 2 We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated English Teacher to join our primary teaching team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Grades 1 and 2, fostering a love for reading, writing, and language while building strong literacy foundations in line with the school's curriculum.Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in alignment with curriculum standards.Teach foundational English skills including phonics, reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening.Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to address different learning styles and abilities.Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.Assess student progress through observations, assignments, and assessments; provide feedback and maintain records.Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan activities, projects, and cross-curricular integration.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).Prior teaching experience at the primary level (Grade 1 or 2) is highly desirable.Excellent command of spoken and written English.Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate instructional strategies.Familiarity with phonics programs and early literacy frameworks is a plus.Skills and Attributes:Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.Strong communication and classroom management skills.Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team.
