English Teacher cum Academic Coordinator (Classes XI & XII – CBSE)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Delivery (English – Grades XI & XII):

Teach English as per CBSE curriculum with a focus on enhancing reading, writing, grammar, and literature skills.

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with board guidelines.

Use innovative teaching methodologies including digital tools and activity-based learning.

Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and remedial classes for academic improvement.

Evaluate students’ progress through tests, projects, and internal assessments.

2. Academic Coordination (Senior Secondary – All Subjects):

Plan and monitor the academic calendar, unit test schedule, and syllabus completion for Grades XI & XII.

Coordinate with subject teachers to ensure uniformity in teaching, assessments, and result compilation.

Organize parent-teacher meetings, board exam preparations, and student counselling sessions.

Liaise with the school management and CBSE for compliance with academic standards.

Support in organizing career guidance programs, Olympiads, and enrichment activities.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong command over English language and literature

Academic leadership & team coordination

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of NEP, CBSE guidelines, and board exam framework

Tech-savvy (Google Classroom, MS Office, Zoom/Meet, etc.)

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in English (preferred)

B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
