Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, natural voice recordings in both English and Malay for AI training purposes.
• Translate spoken material between English and Malay, maintaining fidelity and context.
• Utilize a high-quality recording device in a distraction-free setting; ensure all audio meets 24kHz, mono, PCM16 WAV standards.
• Upload recordings via the provided platform, adhering to strict guidelines for audio clarity and format.
• Work collaboratively with the customer’s team to review, iterate, and improve collected data.
• Demonstrate care for both verbal and written communications, providing accurate annotations and feedback when required.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, upholding rigorous quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Malay (see definitions below).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially in pronunciation, tone, and context accuracy.
• Experience using microphones or mobile devices to produce clear, undistorted audio files.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and upload multiple recordings efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in AI training, voiceover, linguistics, or translation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to produce studio-quality audio (studio access is a plus, but not required).
• Familiarity with technical audio specifications and file formats.
