English & Humanities Tacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English and Humanities Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire and challenge students through engaging lessons in English Language, Literature, History, and/or Social Studies. You will promote critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a love for reading, writing, and inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in English and Humanities subjects in accordance with the curriculum and school policies.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages student engagement, curiosity, and academic excellence.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Foster students’ skills in reading comprehension, writing, analysis, research, and historical thinking.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Contribute to the development of interdisciplinary units across English and Humanities.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and report grades as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons and share best practices.
• Uphold the school’s values and support its mission and educational philosophy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, History, Humanities, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum [2-3] years of teaching experience in English and/or Humanities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping students grow academically and personally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
