Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

Teach SST and English to primary classes as per the school curriculum.
Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans, worksheets, and activities.
Use creative teaching methods like storytelling, group work, projects, and role-play.
Ensure conceptual clarity and develop reading, writing, and social awareness skills in students.

Classroom Management

Maintain discipline and create a positive, child-friendly learning environment.
Manage classroom time, seating, and behavior effectively.

Assessment & Records

Conduct tests, classwork, homework, assignments, and periodic assessments.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.
Provide remedial support for students needing extra help.

Parent & Staff Coordination

Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Participate in parent–teacher meetings (PTMs), staff meetings, and school events.
Coordinate with colleagues for planning and academic improvements.

Co-curricular Contribution

Encourage students to participate in debates, storytelling, map activities, quizzes, and cultural programs.
Support school events, celebrations, exhibitions, and competitions.
