Engineering Team Lead

As a Technical Lead or Team Lead in an Agile/Scrum environment, your responsibilities will include leading, mentoring, and managing a scrum team to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business goals. Collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize work, identify technical solutions, and effectively address challenges is essential. Ensuring the team follows Agile principles and delivers high-quality code by promoting best practices in software development, testing, and deployment is a key aspect of the role. You will drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud technologies to optimize system performance and scalability. Providing technical and career guidance to team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement is also a crucial part of the position. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a technical lead or team lead in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a strong background in software engineering and advanced Java programming skills. Knowledge of the Spring Framework is essential. Experience in mentoring and supporting team members for professional growth, as well as the ability to break down complex problems, manage priorities, and deliver innovative solutions are important qualities. Proficiency in container technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is required. Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL) and comfort in Linux/UNIX server environments are also necessary. Excellent communication skills are a must, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
