Engineering Team Lead

As an Engineering Lead with 8+ years of experience, you will be responsible for owning and scaling a healthcare platform across multiple regions including India, the Middle East, Latin America, and the US. Your role will involve architecting scalable systems, leading a distributed engineering team, and making critical technical decisions while staying hands-on with code. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the end-to-end platform architecture for EMR/HMS systems serving multiple geographies with 99.9%+ uptime requirements - Design and code Python-based APIs, data processing pipelines, healthcare integrations (HL7/FHIR), and AI model inference systems - Review and guide Angular frontend architecture, component design, API integration patterns, and performance optimization - Lead the productionization of clinical intelligence and AI models, managing inference pipelines and governance frameworks - Oversee multi-region infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and compliance across HIPAA, GDPR, and ABDM regulations - Manage and mentor backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps engineers across distributed teams - Translate product requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions - Establish an engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, reliability, and clinical safety - Lead technical due diligence and architecture planning for new market entries - Write and review production code for critical backend and frontend systems - Debug complex production issues in healthcare environments - Make architectural decisions across the full stack and unblock teams when needed **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of software development with deep Python expertise (API design, system architecture from scratch, not just framework usage) - Hands-on Angular and TypeScript experience for frontend architecture, code review, and team guidance - 3+ years building healthcare IT systems with production experience in HL7/FHIR, EMR/HMS platforms, or clinical data systems - 3+ years in technical leadership managing distributed engineering teams - Production experience deploying AI/ML systems in regulated environments - Strong background in cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices, and databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) - Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for multi-environment deployments - Expert-level Python for healthcare integrations, data processing, and automation - Production Angular experience with enterprise applications - Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and compliance frameworks - Experience architecting for LATAM, Middle East, or emerging market infrastructure constraints The company is looking for a candidate who can balance technical debt, feature delivery, and platform reliability while demonstrating strong communication skills, experience managing teams across multiple time zones, problem-solving mindset with clinical safety awareness, and the ability to lead teams effectively.,
