Engineering Operations Data Analyst

Role Overview: As an Engineering Operations Data Analyst at QAD, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to software development processes, performance, and quality. Your main tasks will include designing systems and processes to automate metrics collection, analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement, integrating metrics collection with development tools, and collaborating with stakeholders to align metrics with project objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Design systems and processes to automate the collection of software metrics - Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement in development processes - Generate dashboards and reports to present actionable insights to engineering and leadership teams - Integrate metrics collection with existing development tools like Jira, GitLab, Aha!, etc. - Evaluate and implement analytics tools to enhance metric tracking and reporting capabilities - Collaborate with engineering managers, product owners, and project managers to align metrics with project objectives Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or data analytics roles - Proven experience working with software development metrics and process improvement - Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies - Proficiency in data visualization tools - Familiarity with tools like Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Aha!, etc. for metric extraction - Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis - Flexibility to work Western European Time Zone hours (Note: Additional Information section omitted as it does not contain specific details relevant to the job description.),
