Job Description

Role Overview:

Engineering Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Maintenance:

Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of equipment, systems, or facilities
Ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime through proactive planning
Troubleshoot technical issues and support on-ground teams in repairs and upgrades

Project Execution:

Assist in planning, budgeting, and executing engineering projects
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
Monitor project timelines, quality, and adherence to safety standards

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and progress updates for internal use and management review
Maintain accurate records of spare parts, tools, and inventory used in operations

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for technical or process improvements to increase operational efficiency
Support implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training

Must-Haves:

Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
2-3 years of relevant experience in engineering operations or maintenance
Working knowledge of engineering systems, plant operations, or technical project execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or maintenance management systems (CMMS)
