Engineering Manager/Senior Technical Lead-Java

About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture , along with a proven track record in leading and mentoring development teams. This role requires a hands-on technologist who can architect, design, and deliver scalable backend solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based applications. Architect and implement Microservices using Spring Boot , REST APIs, and containerized environments. Guide and mentor a team of developers; conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders. Manage sprints, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features. Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. Drive technical innovation and adoption of modern development practices. Act as the go-to technical expert for complex problem-solving and decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development. Strong expertise in Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , and RESTful APIs . Solid experience with Microservices architecture , design patterns, and best practices. Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines , Git, and DevOps tools. Proven experience in leading and managing development teams (at least 2+ years). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
