Engineering Manager(Python) with US IT Product based Co - Remote

As an Engineering Manager with 10+ years of industry experience, you will be responsible for delivering Enterprise products with a focus on engineering leadership. You should have experience in building or scaling platforms, APIs, or enterprise-grade SaaS products using Python and React. Additionally, you will lead high-performing engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery of features with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Your role will involve participating in architectural discussions, facilitating debates, and recommending technical solutions as needed. You should be well-versed in agile development methodologies such as Scrum and possess familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence). It is crucial to understand business concepts and align daily decisions with company goals. As a people leader, you will mentor a geographically dispersed team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. Providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career growth will be essential aspects of your role. In terms of required skills, you should have a desire to learn and grow within an innovative Engineering organization. Proficiency in Python, React/Angular, and Big Data technologies is necessary. Knowledge of cloud-native design principles, security, cost optimization, and CI/CD in AWS and/or GCP is crucial, along with familiarity with core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and more. Your ability to coach, mentor, and grow engineers across experience levels, partner with product managers and stakeholders, and keep the team aligned with long-term goals is paramount. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
