Engineering Manager/Lead

As the Engineering Manager/Lead at ThinkHumble, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing learning through AI-powered personalized experiences. Your primary responsibility will involve hands-on development, focusing on architecting, designing, and developing scalable and secure applications. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both backend and front-end development. Additionally, you will work on microservices architecture, ensure seamless integration of APIs, optimize database performance, deploy, monitor, and manage services, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance enhancements. Moreover, as a leader, you will mentor and guide software engineers to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills. You will conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Collaborating with Product and Design teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and driving Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices will be essential aspects of your role. To be successful in this role, you should be an Engineer at heart, driven by quality, and have a strong background in full stack software development and leadership roles, ideally in the startup or AI/ML domain. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MySQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins is required. Front-end experience with React, Angular, or Flutter, along with knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript, is preferred. A solid grasp of cutting-edge AI, particularly NLP or computer vision, is highly desirable.
