Software Engineering Manager (MEAN Stack)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Agile-based software development team working on a MEAN stack-based platform. In this role, you will oversee the development lifecycle, manage customer implementations, help team with solutioning/ debugging and ensure successful delivery of our platform while handling customer communications and delivery expectations. The candidate should have extensive experience in MEAN stack technologies, customer management, and a strong understanding of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Agile Software Development - Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in Agile-based development methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices. - Guide and collaborate with software engineers and senior software engineers to design and develop optimal technical solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

• Customer Implementation Management

- Plan, manage, and execute customer implementations of the MEAN stack-based platform, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business objectives.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing communications, addressing concerns, and setting delivery expectations throughout the implementation process.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of customer requirements into the product roadmap and development process.

Project Planning and Delivery

- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements for customer implementations, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Develop project plans, track progress, and manage risks to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results.

- Monitor resource utilization, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings.

• Team Leadership and Agile Software Development

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in Agile-based development methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

- Guide and collaborate with software engineers and senior software engineers to design and develop optimal technical solutions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.

Mandatory Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA only.
• 60% & above in entire academics including highest qualification.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership in Agile-based software development and 3 years of customer handling.
• Strong technical background in either MEAN/Java/Python technologies, with hands-on experience in MongoDB, Angular.
• Proven track record of leading Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices, with experience in planning, executing, and delivering customer implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the FinTech industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
