Engineering Manager- Payments

You will be responsible for building and leading a team to develop robust, highly scalable, and high-quality solutions. Collaborating with both business and technical teams to tackle complex problems will be a key part of your role. You will need to advocate for quality coding, design principles, and best practices while effectively communicating design and test impacts based on business requirements. With at least 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and testing highly scalable software, you should be proficient in Java and PHP. A strong foundation in object-oriented development and design patterns is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Your ability to engineer complex features and systems from the ground up and see them through to completion will be crucial. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of various data storage systems and prior experience in microservices and event-driven architecture. Researching and assessing technologies and solutions to determine design options and trade-offs will also be part of your responsibilities.
