Engineering Manager

Role Overview: As the owner of the team and product, you will have the opportunity to create a B2C product that will impact the lives of millions of users. You will be responsible for improving the current architecture and building for the future. Working closely with the product team, you will play a key role in executing the roadmap. Your time will be divided with 70% on coding and 30% on managing, and you will collaborate with your reporting line to cultivate a strong engineering culture. Your focus will be on the team's output rather than your personal contributions, including hiring and mentoring. Key Responsibilities: - Ownership of team and product - Create a B2C product with wide-reaching impact - Enhance current architecture and plan for the future - Collaborate closely with the product team on roadmap execution - Spend 70% of time on coding and 30% on managing - Build and maintain a strong engineering culture - Focus on team output, including hiring and mentoring Qualifications Required: - 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a management role - Experience in end-to-end product development - Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Golang, Nodejs Additional Details: The company follows a hybrid work setup in Mumbai, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
