Engineering Manager, Backend (Java/Scala)

As an Engineering Manager at Adform, you will be leading big data platform development teams to deliver on the product roadmap while managing stakeholder relationships. Your responsibilities will include hiring and onboarding new team members, as well as developing career plans for existing team members. Key Responsibilities: - Have an agile mindset and can adapt to changes in a dynamic environment - Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers" activities following the Adform best practices and standards - Manage, support, and evaluate engineers" performance - Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions - Communicate and collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to keep them aligned on delivery status - Ensure that Adform values are being followed by the team members Qualifications Required: - Overall 10+ years of experience in mentoring technical teams, either as a lead developer or QA - Ability to understand technical topics/terminologies related to Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, and Backend APIs - Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus - Experience working on microservices architecture - Ability to provide technical guidance to the development team during solution implementation At Adform, you can expect to be surrounded by a dynamic, inspiring, and international environment that prioritizes client value.
