Your main responsibilities will include directing daily engineering needs, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for guests, maintaining supplies efficiently, being adaptable to ad-hoc duties, and cultivating strong relationships with external contacts such as guests and regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities: - Direct daily engineering needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task - Create a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests to enjoy - Maintain and order parts and supplies while minimizing waste and meeting green initiatives - Be flexible to react to ad-hoc duties and collaborate effectively to complete tasks - Build strong relationships with outside contacts, including guests, regulatory agencies, and others as required Qualifications Required: - Some college or advanced vocational training - Four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience - Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields - Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber, and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required - Hotel experience preferred - Professional certification and license if mandated by law Additional Details about the Company: IHG provides its employees with the necessary tools and support to thrive in their roles.
