Engineering Leader - Java

Role Overview: As a senior member of Vidpro, your role involves demonstrating strong execution, communication, and analytical skills. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders globally and locally, including the Customer's business, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations Teams. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high quality standards, delivering solutions on time, and within the allocated budget. Additionally, you are expected to have recent hands-on experience in Java Enterprise technologies, encompassing both user interface and middleware frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Build and nurture a product engineering team - Collaborate with teams across different locations to develop functional and high-performance products using Agile Scrum methodology - Lead product discovery, backlog grooming, execution, monitoring, and the delivery of assigned features/projects within the specified timeline and budget - Oversee the enhancement of the quality engineering team - Monitor project progress and quality continuously, manage issue resolution processes, and take corrective actions when necessary - Guide the team in building and testing code to ensure predictable quality and proactively maintain services in pre-production and production environments Qualifications Required: - Possess over 20 years of overall experience in building large systems and managing key program deliveries across multiple geographically dispersed teams - Proficiency in IT Software Development, Digital Solutions, and Digital Transformation - Thorough understanding of technology and software development methodologies, particularly in custom software development for clients - Demonstrated success in meeting revenue targets consistently - Hands-on expertise in multiple UI and Java Enterprise frameworks - Responsible for designing and developing products or major product sub-systems - Ability to analyze project risks, issues, costs, and benefits, providing recommendations to business and IT leadership - Implement action plans to mitigate risks as required - Motivate and mentor team members effectively,
