Engineering Head

As an Engineering Manager at Veersa, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of talented engineers, striking a balance between technical proficiency, leadership, and strategic vision. Your responsibilities will encompass team management, project leadership, technical guidance, strategic alignment, process enhancement, effective communication, and risk management. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Take charge of hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating engineers to foster a positive and productive team environment. Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals, timely delivery, and within budget. Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of technology and its applications to guide the team, make technical decisions, and ensure work quality. Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with other departments to translate business needs into technical requirements, contributing to the company's long-term strategic planning. Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in engineering processes to boost efficiency and quality, including adoption of agile methodologies. Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments, providing updates, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns. Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks to projects and the company through risk assessments, contingency planning, and proactive issue resolution. Key Requirements: Strong technical background: Minimum 15 years of experience in software engineering with expertise in latest tech stacks and technologies. Leadership and Management Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively while providing constructive feedback. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in planning, executing, and managing projects, including goal setting, timeline definition, and resource management. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
