Description
As a Trainee Engineer, your primary role will be to support the engineering, construction, and facility management teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of real estate development projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting in supervising Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing works on site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and vendors, participating in quality checks, and monitoring daily site activities. You will be expected to review project drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities, and assist in preparing technical documentation, method statements, and work schedules. Additionally, you will support facility management teams in the upkeep of building systems, track asset performance, and energy consumption. Maintaining site records, checklists, and engineering logs, as well as ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and environmental guidelines will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be involved in preparing project status reports for management. To enhance your skills and competencies, you will participate in internal training programs and workshops on project management, safety, and quality. Working under the mentorship of senior engineers, you will have the opportunity to develop technical and managerial skills. The ideal candidate for this role should have a basic understanding of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering principles, familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and MS Project, good communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Successful trainees may have the opportunity to progress into roles such as Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Facility Engineer based on performance.,
