Description
As a Maintenance Technician at JW Marriott Hotel Pune, your role involves responding to and addressing guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment - Visual inspection of tools, equipment, and machines - Identifying, locating, and operating shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings - Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed - Communicating daily activities and issues to other shifts - Displaying basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in various maintenance categories such as air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more - Conducting surface preparation, painting, minor repairs, and cleanup tasks - Troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items - Using the Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work - Performing repairs on landscaping and external sprinklers - Utilizing basic computer skills for tasks such as inputting schedules and making temperature changes In terms of qualifications, the following are required: - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent - Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting - License or Certification: Driver's License While supervisory experience is not required, any experience in hotel engineering or maintenance would be a plus.
