Engineer - Supplier Technical Support

As an Engineer Supplier Technical Support, your role involves providing technical support to suppliers and ensuring the smooth development of parts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Local technical clarifications with suppliers and Supply Chain Management (SCM). - Acting as a local contact for operations and providing technical support to suppliers. - Conducting local process reviews (technology audits) at the suppliers" facilities. - Qualifying on-site first samples. - Supporting the Global Production Support for serialised parts (RDBU) and Product Maintenance for transfer project (RDBM) teams. To excel in this role, you are required to have: - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. - 5-8 years of experience in supplier/part development. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, moulding, and casting (with a preference for High-pressure die casting and Investment casting). - Sound understanding of Geometrical dimensioning (ISO GPS) and tolerances related to new product development of mechanical parts. - Highly analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred qualifications and experience for this role include: - Knowledge of SAP PLM. - Global exposure.
