Engineer / Senior Engineer - QA

As an Engineer / Senior Engineer - QA at CogniCor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through various quality engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and validating requirements and technical specifications. - Developing and executing test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer conversations. - Documenting results and offering observations or improvements after analyzing test results and overall product quality. - Collaborating with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing). - Communicating professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization. - Supporting, designing, developing, and enhancing test processes and reporting for QA processes. - Managing testing efforts across 1-2 projects under tight deadlines. - Representing CogniCor values to other associates and clients. - Requiring familiarity with at least one programming language and the ability to code, debug, and analyze code for test automation purposes. **Must Have Competencies:** - Experience in Agile Development environments. - Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies. - Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills. - Experience with web-based application testing. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions. - Identifying, communicating, and escalating issues as required. - Being a team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Good To Have Competencies:** - Knowledge of software testing/performance testing tools. - Knowledge in AI-based platforms/products. **Qualifications:** - BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT or equivalent. - 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in QA. - Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Control. - Experience in Quality Assurance and Product Quality. - Proficiency in Quality Management principles and practices. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.,
